Front Office Staff

Office Coordinator / Finance Manager

I have had the good fortune to work for Dr. Weiss since 1974! I’ve been here many years but I can’t imagine working in a better place or for a better person. My first 15 years here I served as Dr. Weiss’s assistant, but as the practice grew, I found myself spending more and more time in our business office. Having the opportunity to get to know patients from the very first day they come and seeing them through to the end result has never ceased to be exciting. Now, after all this time, I have the pleasure of seeing our former patients bring THEIR children to us!

When I’m not here, my husband and I spend every moment possible with our children and precious grandchildren.

Accounts Coordinator / Licensed Assistant

I have been one of the smiling faces that greet you as you come into the office since I came here in 2014, but I am also the person you might speak with if you have a question about your account. Even although I am primarily in our business office, I have been involved in the clinical side of dentistry since 2003; ten years of that time, I was in pedodontics. So I guess you could say it’s in my blood.

When I’m not here, my life revolves around my children and having quality time with my husband and now my precious grandson.

Receptionist/Financial Coordinator/Licensed Assistant

I was a patient of Dr. Weiss originally, and always enjoyed coming to the office because everyone made me feel so relaxed and welcome. After I started working in the dental field myself, and had the opportunity to work here part time in 2011, I jumped at the chance! One thing led to another, and now I have been here FULL TIME since 2014!  Recently my responsibilities have taken me more and more in to our business office but, wherever I'm working in our office, my personal goal is to make each patient that walks in to this office feel as incredible as I felt every time I came here!

Yes, orthodontics is my passion but I do have another one: Health and Fitness!  Keeping myself fit and maintaining a nutritional balance that works for me is like having a second full-time job BUT I LOVE IT!!

Receptionist/Official Hugger and Morale Booster/Licensed Assistant

I may be one of the newer members of the team but it certainly doesn't feel that way!  Dr. Weiss has treated my whole family at the Millington office for years and, not once, did we ever leave without a big hug and a smile!  NOW I get access to that wonderfulness (is that even a word?!) any time I want from not just Dr. Weiss but also Dr. G!!

I had been in Pediatric dentstry for 20 years when I decided I needed a change.  One thng lead to another and HERE I AM!  It's so incredible seeing the transformation in people as they realize how beautiful their smile is and I get to see that over and over again!

When I'm not with my family here, I'm enjoying cooking and gardening and spending all kinds of fun time with my full time family - my beautiful daughters and handsome husband!

Administrative Assistant/Licensed Assistant

I started helping out in the office doing anything I could when I was just seventeen, so I really feel like I grew up here. It didn't take me long to fall in love with everything to do with orthodontics, not to mention my fellow team members and our two incredible doctors!  Being home schooled, I was able to graduate early and, in no time at all, I had my license to assist.

My love for orthodontics hasn't changed a bit!  Even although I've received my license, I still love being able to bounce around within the office, tackling new jobs and responsibilities.  Sometimes I feel like a sponge, just trying to soak it all in!

Did I mention that I also managed to slip in getting married to the love of my life? ha! My dream man!  My dream life!  My dream job!  No wonder you'll rarely see me without a smile on my face!

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I have worked for Dr. Weiss since becoming involved in the dental field in 1985. In 1993, I stepped away for a number of years to raise my children. When I was ready to return to work in 2003, I wouldn’t have dreamed of working anywhere else. Now that Dr. G has joined us, it just makes that feeling even stronger. I love what I do because there is always a new challenge, due to the changes our patients’ teeth are going through. I just love seeing the end results!

I have been happily married to my high-school sweetheart since 1984, and we enjoy nothing more than spending time with our kids. Anything we do together as a family is always fun!

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I have enjoyed working for Dr. Weiss since 1994, except for a couple of years to have my children. I love knowing we’re making a difference in our patients’ lives and the relaxed environment and fun we have as a staff.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and being the best mom I can to my daughter and son.

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I have been in orthodontics since 1980 and have been fortunate enough to be involved with some terrific practices. When I moved to Memphis from Nashville back in ’99, there was only one person I wanted to work for and that was Dr. Weiss, because I had heard he was the best and I wasn’t disappointed! Dr. Weiss isn’t just a great orthodontist, though; he’s also a genuinely good person who sincerely cares about his staff and each one of his patients, and he is completely dedicated to his family. Now that Dr. G has joined us, I can see why he blends so well into our little family because he’s much the same way himself.

The main reason I love what I do is because I love people. Every person that sits in that chair throughout the day comes with his or her own feelings and personality. Being able to spend that time with them, getting to know them, and knowing that you’re helping to make them have a more beautiful smile, makes coming to work every day so fulfilling.

When I’m not at work, I love to travel, or you might see me wearing out the road to Nashville to spend every moment I can with my beautiful granddaughters! Oh! I also love painting and sculpting (or, really, anything to do with art).

Lab Technician

I have been with Dr. Weiss since 1999 and spent my first few years working in the business office. After a few years I moved to the clinical area and started working in our lab. I’ve enjoyed the work I’ve been involved with in both areas, because there are always challenges to face that make each day interesting. I still get to work with our patients too, which makes each day fun and exciting.

When I’m not at the office, you will probably find me with my husband on the softball field, catching balls behind home plate, or spending time with my incredible family and my amazing grandchildren.

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

When you come in to the office and you think you’ve seen me before, well, you probably have! I also work for Dr. Josh Brink, who is a pediatric dentist. I had been dividing my time between both offices since 2001, and, even though my background is in pediatric dentistry, my love for orthodontics after all these years simply won out. I still work in both offices; I just spend the majority of my time here. Dr. Weiss, Dr. G, and all the ladies have become like my second family.

When I’m not working, I’m doing my best to keep up with my three sons’ sports schedules and trying to figure out a way to split myself into three so I can cheer each one of them on at their various games. If you can think of something, PLEASE let me know!

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I have been working in orthodontics since 1999 and have worked in many different offices, but none has made me feel more at home than this one. Sometimes you just know when you are in the right place, and this is it for me! I already knew I loved doing what I do, but being in an environment like we have here makes coming to work every day bring a smile to my face.

When I’m not here at the office, I love to work in my garden, go four wheeling, or do anything that involves the outdoors and being with my favorite people in the world: my husband and three children!

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I’ve been in orthodontics since 1986 and, after working in Nashville for 22 of those years, I decided to come back home to be with my family here in Memphis. After being part of such a great team there, I knew the only practice that would meet the standards I was used to was with Dr. Weiss. When I started working here in 2013, everyone welcomed me with open arms. The level of quality that both Dr. Weiss and Dr. G show in their work and their sincere concern for their patients’ well-being is unparalleled.

I’m pretty much an outdoor girl when I’m not at work so, even though I love cooking up new dishes at home for my many visiting friends, you will usually find me at the lake or hitting the mud trails on any side-by-side I can hitch a ride on.

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

When Dr. Weiss and Dr. G asked me to come and work with them back in the spring of 2017, it was really a "no brainer!"  I had already been involved in the general side of dentistry for a number of years plus my own daughter had even been a patient of theirs so I already knew how incredible they were!  My answer was a resounding YES!  I admit I was a little concerned about transitioning from general practice to orthodontics but I've alays loved a good challenge.  Turns out, I loved it so much it all felt very natural and, you know what, my love for it hasn't changed one bit!

When I’m not blazing a trail between my home in Arkansas to my other "home" in Memphis, I'm spending as much quality time as possible with my three daughters and stepson!  They are all growing up WAY too fast!

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I became a dental assistant after having braces late in life. I finished my two years of prerequisites in 2011 but still didn't know what I wanted to be when I "grew up!"  I never thought it was fair I had to pick one thing!  My orthodontist asked me to shadow in his office for a few weeks and see what I thought about dentistry. I fell in love with both the field and the environment.  I enjoyed the transformation process and how much confidence patients gained during and after their treatment!  Shortly after shadowing, I applied for the DA program at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated in 2013, and here I am today!

I truly feel blessed to love what I do and love the people I work with.  The humans here are incredible and I consider them family.  I can't imagine my life without them.

When I'm not working or doing hot yoga, I'm outside hiking, kayaking, or traveling with my family and two huskies.

Licensed Orthodontic Assistant

I started working as a pediatric and orthodontic assistant in September 2014 and haven't looked back!  There is nothing more rewarding than building a relationship with every patient that comes through the office, nonetheless seeing their reaction when they get their braces off!

When I am not at work, I purely enjoy seeking Christ, spreading His love through mission work, adventuring with my daughter and two poodles, and furthering my education through college courses, as well as being a Crossfit Athlete.

Special Thanks to our former team member Angela, for all of the great pics! Check her out!
